SPECPOL

The Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL, or GA4) is the fourth committee of the six main bodies of the United Nations General Assembly. The committee deals with a diversity of political issues, such as UN peacekeeping operatipons, and decolonization issues. All 193 members of the United Nations can attend to the meetings of SPECPOL.

In this session of SPECPOL, delegates will be discussing one of the most recent issues regarding the World: the Independence and acquisition of Greenland. After the statements by the U.S President Donald Trump  regarding the possible acquisition of Greenland, the issue has turned into a global crisis.
