SOCHUM

The Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM), the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly. Globally, everyone acknowledges that access to quality education is essential and crucial. This states that everyone should have equal opportunity to it. However, millions of people around the world have their access to this education restricted and even their most basic rights denied. As the SOCHUM committee, we will focus on issues which directly shape people’s daily lives and fundamental human dignity in order to ensure that everyone receives inclusive and equal education in every way, and we will find permanent solutions to overcome this problem. As a committee “SOCHUM” will work toward maintaining that education becomes a meaningful and accessible right for every individual, rather than a privilege for a few.
